Welcome Hello, My name is April Bowler. I am currently a junior at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. I am pursuining a Bachelor of Arts degree in Media Arts and Design and a minor in Creative Writing. Web Services I do web design as a hobby and recently decided to purse it as a freelance career. The past two summers I had a graphic design internship where I learned a variety of programs including Photoshop, Ilustrator, InDesign and Quark Express. Spring 2009 semester I took a graphic design class for my undergraduate studies that helped me hone my skills in those applications. I also took a class that introduced me to Dreamweaver. Previously having experience in both graphic and web design programs similar to Photoshop and Dreamweaver, I was able to learn these applications very quickly. I pick up on new software very fast. Video Services I have taken courses on basic camera operations and editing techniques. I am currently interning at WHSV-TV3, Harrisonburg's ABC affiliate. I am broadening my knowledge about programs like Final Cut Pro and Adobe After Effects. I have also been exposed to programs such as Audtion, LightWave 3D, Blender, and LiveType. If you need a simple video produced, I will have no problem doing it.
