Q: How do I create a house?
A: After you join you will be directed to a page that has a link to the "Build Your House" page on it. Click that link to start building your house. The house builder consists of a lot of props that are drag and drop. Select the prop that you would like to use by clicking and dragging it to the designated area. After you have selected all of your props simply press "Prt Sc" on your keyboard (located next to the delete button). This copies the image. Then open an image editing program such as Paint, Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc. Paste the image into the program and then crop it so it is 99x63 pixels. Save the file to your computer and then upload it to either your own server or a free image host such as Photobucket. Then go to your account information page and put the URL of the house where needed.

Q: How do I add an address to my house?
A: Log into your account and select "View/Edit your account". Type in a FAKE address where it says "House Address". Click the submit button at the bottom of the page. When the page refreshes, copy and paste "Your code for TRADING HOUSES" in the box that appears just below your house. If you haven't created your house yet then the code won't have all of your information. Put the code on your neighborhood page. This is the code you will give to other members when trading houses. When they hover their mouse over your house your address and site name will appear along with a link to your site.

Q: How do I join the site rotation?
A: Once you join DaHood you are officially a member of both the pixel exchange AND the site rotation. You don't have to join both separately. To insert the rotation code on your site all you do is log into your account, select "View/Edit your account, and then copy and paste the code in the box that says "Your ROTATION Code" onto your website.

Q: What is the credit ratio for the site rotation?
A: 1:1 This means for every link you display, a link to your site will be display.

Q: How do I submit props/houses/neighborhoods?

Q: How do I create my neighborhood page?
A: You can either download a premade neighborhood layout or create your own. To download them just log into your account and select "Member Tools". Click "Premade Neighborhood Pages" under "Your Hood". After downloading the layout of your choice, unzip and edit the files. Contest winners get exclusive premade layouts that are located in the Contest Winner's Area.

Q: I joined DaHood so how come my site isn't showing up on the DaHood Topsites?
A: You have to join DaHood Topsites separately. To join, just Log into your account, select "Members Tools", and there is a link to the DaHood Topsites towards the bottom of the page.

Q: I joined DaHood so how come my name isn't showing up on the members list?
A: In order for your name to show up on the members list you must join DaHood Ez-Trade separately. DET is a way to quickly look up and message fellow neighbors you would like to swop houses with. You don't have to join, but it makes trading a whole lot easier and it allows other members to easily find you. To join click here.

Q: Do I have to use the "Build Your House" page to create my house?
A: No. The "Build Your House" page is nearly a guide. You may create your house however you wish but you must follow the guidlines stated on the Rules page.

Q: How many people can I trade with?
A: As many as you want! The more people you trade houses with the more exposure your site gets. That's the whole point.

Q: Can I nominate myself for an award?
A: Yes.
